I worked a solid 12 hours in the meat department tonight, and still managed to crack a smile to the customers still asking about hams we didn't have. :)

Sweet Hearts

So around 1am last nite I had some strawberries, and held one up and noticed the shape and saw a heart in the fruit.  And I seem to do my best and most creative work late at night, and this is what I came up with.  I love this photo and the concept of a naturally sweet heart.

For these shots, I used my SIGMA 17-70mm f-2.8-4.5 DC lens.  It's a wonderful lens for sure.  But, your equipment is only as good as you make it.  Buying grand and expensive equipment won't guarantee grand results.  The camera doesn't make the photographer great; the photographer makes the camera great.  Creativity, silence, and flow...let it flow from your mind through the lens and you will truly come up with unique shots.

From an Artist's Eye

I found it unnecessary to post metadata for this set, merely because it's not concerning any real direct light, and the subject is not what the camera is pointed at.  The pictures are upside down, which to me, is right-side up since it's more unique and artistic this way.

They are photos of people ascending a fleet of steps in front of a large window.  Taken at Brookdale CC.
